I am an Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting people navigating trauma, psychosocial disability, nervous system dysregulation, and complex mental health challenges.
At Bodywise OT, I take a gentle, trauma-informed and neuroaffirming approach that recognises the connection between mind, body, environment and lived experience. My work focuses on helping people feel safer in their body, improve daily functioning, build regulation skills, and reconnect with meaningful life and community participation.
I hold a Master of Occupational Therapy from The University of Queensland and have completed additional training in Somatic Experiencing™, EMDR, Trauma Focused ACT, Schema Therapy, DBT skills, Yoga and mindfulness-based approaches, and Equine Assisted Therapy.
I believe healing is not just cognitive — our nervous systems and bodies hold important stories too. Bodywise OT was created to offer grounded,
compassionate support that helps people better understand themselves, feel more connected to their body, and move toward a life that feels safer, more manageable and more meaningful.

Waffles is Beth’s much-loved therapy dog, bringing calm, comfort and plenty of smiles to sessions. With a gentle nature and a knack for making people feel at ease, Waffles helps create a welcoming and supportive environment.

Bumblebee is one of our beautiful therapy horses who loves connection, routine and spending time with clients outdoors. Working alongside horses can support confidence, emotional regulation, communication and sensory development in a calm, natural environment.

Donkey is a quiet and caring presence who brings a little extra personality to the team. Donkey helps encourage trust, engagement and emotional connection through relaxed and meaningful interactions.

Hayley provides remote administration support for Bodywise Occupational Therapy, helping with bookings, enquiries, client communication and behind-the-scenes organisation. She works closely with Beth to help everything run smoothly and ensure families feel supported throughout their journey.
